Helen and I are completing a 'Channel Champions Challenge' to raise funds for Scottish Veterans' Residences.

The challenge will see us swim 22 miles, the width of the English Channel, over 12 weeks in our local pools (that's 40 lengths of a 25m pool 3 times a week).

Established in 1910 Scottish Veterans Residences is a charity that provides high-quality, supported accommodation for veterans who are homeless or in need.
