This April I will be running my first Marathon. As someone who only took up running in the last few years this is going to be a huge challenge. So I need all the support and motivation I can get! I'm running for Friends of Brighton & Hove Hospitals as they have been working tirelessly throughout the last 2 difficult years to support the NHS in our city. I'm hoping to raise £1,000 to help them fund the brilliant work they are doing.

Friends of Brighton & Hove Hospitals work with the local NHS to enhance patient experience by raising money for equipment and services that really do make a difference. Their flagship project Small Acts of Friendship is a unique charitable programme of activities created by the Elderly Care Team at the Royal Sussex County Hospital and the Friends of Brighton & Hove Hospitals. It is designed to help elderly patients maintain dignity, social activity, mobility and well-being in hospital and better able to re-join the community when they leave.
