Victim Support is an independent charity. We are dedicated to supporting people affected by crime and traumatic incidents in England and Wales and we put them at the heart of our organisation. We provide specialist help and services to support people to cope and recover.

Story

In February 2013, Myself and Sasha will be joining a team of 29 women to climb Kilimanjaro to raise money for victims of domestic violence. The intrepid explorers are aged between 16 and 60 and will be the first all female group of women to tackle the mountain all raising money for the same charity, Victim Support.

Statistics show that 1 in 4 women and 1 in 6 men will be a victim of domestic violence during their life time,  one the team of mountain trekkers says  ‘domestic violence is socially unacceptable, no one should suffer at the hands of someone they trust and love. We are taking on this challenge to raise awareness of the plight of those suffering from abuse and to raise as much money as possible to support those who need it’

Please help up raise much needed funds to support victims of domestic violence - we will be using the money to support men, women and children
