While it is wet and cold outside I will be pounding the streets in preparation for the Eastbourne half marathon in March.

I am running to support the amazing work that St. Wilfrid's Hospice provides to our local community. I am sure many of you have been touched personally, or know someone who has, by the work carried out by the hospice, or another hospice, and I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you. Thank you to the hospice for providing choice, support and care to people near the end of their lives, and their families.

I think everyone who knows me and my family will understand how passionate I am about the nursing and support work carried out by the hospice and their home care, and I hope you will find a little spare change in your pockets to help them to carry on their work.

The hospice relies on the support of the community to provide 85% of funding to continue the services provided, and any amount spared will make a difference.
