Event: Hospice Of St Francis (Berkhamsted) - Strictly Learn Dancing, on 27 November 2010
We help over 2,000 local people each year to live their precious lives well

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I’m not a runner, or an absailer, I don’t walk at midnight wearing a pink bra, and quite frankly sitting in a tub of baked beans would make me ill, but I do enjoy a bit of a bop at a party. So when the strictly learn dance fundraising idea came up I thought I’d give it a go. Now don’t be under any illusion. I can’t actually dance yet. That would be too easy. So here's the challenge: To be able to perform to an audience of hundreds, one ballroom and one latin dance after just six lessons. There will be 20 competing couples, and there will be a winner! I’m hoping the lessons will be fairly intensive, and that my lucky (hah hah) partner who is also an amateur will have steel toe caps and oodles of patience. I hope to not fall over, cause any lasting injury to myself or my partner, and of course to do the Hospice proud!

And for those of you that know me know how tremendous St. Francis is. I feel privileged to work as a Nurse there. So please support me now through donating today.

I can’t promise perfection, but I can promise a lot of laughs along the way…
