Hi everyone! Thanks for taking the time to click on my page. You may already know that I have recently started training for my first ever half marathon which I‘ll be running in May. I’m doing this for a charity that is very close to my heart 💖 .

 “As1” charity has helped me and many other families who have children with special needs and disabilities by providing support, information and signposting to various services. I can’t begin to explain the daunting journey you undertake when your child first gets diagnosed. As1 have helped me immensely and I would like to raise money in order for them to extend their services to reach a greater number of families who need it! 

I'm going to put myself through 13.1 miles of sweat, tears and maybe a little blood. Please do support me to power through that finish line, proud of what I've achieved.

As1 supports parents and families with children with special educational needs and disabilities.Through our support group, coffee mornings and events, we make sure families never feel alone. As1 have so many plans for the future - creating a buddy scheme, taking families on weekends away, providing training and education, and raising even more awareness of the needs of SEND children.
