As some of you might know, Adam and I have been running like maniacs throughout lockdown, motivated through by the @fellfitnesscommunity quarantine challenges. In March, we’re going to step it up a notch and raise money for an amazing cause at the same time; York Mind. 

On Friday 5th March, we will be taking part in David Goggin’s 4x4x48 challenge. The challenge is to run 4 miles, every 4 hours, for 48 hours (a total of 48 miles in 48 hours). We’ll start at 4pm on Friday 5th March and run our last 4 miles at 12noon on Sunday 7th March. Even though we are both keen runners, this will be extremely physically and mentally challenging!

We are raising money for York Mind Charity. York Mind are a Mental Health Charity, who promote recovery from mental ill-health and emotional well-being through various support services. I think we can all agree that this past year has been difficult on all our Mental Health in some way, so we want to raise as much money as we can to support anybody who needs it.

Although we will be running as a pair (as we are in a support bubble), other members of Fell Fitness Community will be joining in the challenge too, so this is a page for us all to donate to so we can make as much of an impact as possible.
