Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Back in 2017 I decided I wanted to run a marathon. Two attempts with training up to 18 miles before getting a stress fracture both times may have been a sign that it wasn't meant to be but I'm a firm believer in where there is a will there's a way so here I am on attempt three.
With 18 months of weight training, cross training and an attempt at managing food and rest a bit better I've made it through the training and my grand old goal is just to get round in one piece!
Us in a Bus is a super but small charity in the heart of Surrey. It does an awful lot for some of the people I work with. Mainly people with profound learning disabilities and complex needs. Recently someone stole one of their vans and torched it. It has had a massive impact on the charity and the people who rely on it for things that most of us take for granted. If you are able to spare a few pennies for them, it would help them cover the costs that the incident has incurred.
'Nothing's a challenge without a real chance of failure'...This certainly feels like that so I can't guarantee I'll make it around but I can guarantee I'll give it my best shot!
