I am taking part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Independent Age. More than 1 million older people say they are often or always lonely. As well as feeling cut off from friends and family, it can mean that when difficulties arise, they feel they have no one to turn to. Your donations will help Independent Age tackle this isolation.

I chose to run for this charity as they support a huge number of vulnerable people (over a million people a year access their services) but their work is not as well-known as it deserves to be.

Donate to help older people feel less isolated! And also to spur me on because I can't believe I'm going to run 13 miles! Not sure it's actually possible but here goes!
