Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As most of you are aware I was diagnosed with Leukemia on May 1st 2013. The Royal Marsden Hospital have been fantastic and is where I have had all of my treatment. The doctors and nurses are all friendly and do a fantastic job.
Being told I had cancer was scary, but all the doctors and nurses that looked after me made sure I understood all that was going on. I stayed in hospital for around 16 weeks whilst having chemotherapy treatment and have had further chemotherapy as an out-patient. On the 17th September 2013 I was told I am in remission :)
I have decided that I am going to walk 140 miles in 2014. I have picked 140 miles as this is how many days of treatment I had from start to remission. The walks will be spread out over the year as I will still be having chemotherapy treatment.
Anyone is welcome to come on a walk. Several close family members are joining me on the walks (Nikki Christian, Darryll Christian, Hannah Christian, Jake Christian and Jason Pope).
