I have decided to walk the 24 miles across the Yorkshire Three Peaks for Better Lives - my NHS Trust's charity. This charity enabled us to do extra amazing things with and for patients in hospital  - such as last year when we designed and produced a poetry anthology to celebrate the creative writing of patients, carers, students and staff. This charity improves and enriches patients' experiences and provides new resources like better quality art supplies and relaxation or wellbeing packs for those who access our services. I really feel that, by committing myself to this difficult challenge, I can make a difference and help other people to have better lives. 💙

This challenge feels even more extreme this year, after I caught COVID myself whilst at work and my breathing is still affected today.
