Story
20 years ago this year we lost our best friend to cancer. She was only 23 years old and beautiful both inside and out. We were like the 3 muskateers, we did everything together and we laughed, oh how we laughed. Sarah fought a brave battle, but heartbreakingly, it wasn't to be. 20 years on and Sarah is still very much in our thoughts and lives on in us everyday.
Sadly, cancer is still touching the lives of people close to us including Stacey's Uncle Dod who lost his battle with brain cancer 3 years ago and is hugely missed by all the family. H
As such, we would like to do something positive in tribute to Sarah whilst helping others who are at the end of their lives and in need of very special care. Sarah spent a lot of time at Roxburgh House in the last months of her life as did Uncle Dod and as such, we would like to donate as much money as we can to the Friends of Roxburgh House.
So between us we are going to run 100 competitive kilometres this year. We will update our progress on Facebook, starting with the Baker Hughes 10km run in May.
