Story
Thank you for viewing my Just Giving page.
Myself and my closest friends are taking part in the Great Manchester 10k run on the 10th May to to raise money for the Rainbow Rooms at St Mary's Hospital, Manchester.
In June last year I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl called Luna. Luna was a twin and unfortunately her big Brother Luca suffered from a fatal case of skeletal dysplasia which affects bone growth.
Luca’s short time with us was spent in one of the Rainbow Rooms which is a completely donation dependent facility on the ward of the fantastic St Mary's Hospital in Manchester. The Rooms are a warmer, personal and a less clinical environment to spend time with a baby that is stillborn, has died during labour or in the immediate hours afterwards.
Your kind donations will go straight to the Rainbow Rooms which will mean that they can continue to provide this service to help parents like myself and my partner Andrew at a deeply emotional time.
Every penny really will help.
Many thanks
Vicky & Andrew
