Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
George contracted meningitis at birth and was critically ill in intensive care by three days old. George fought back hard and thankfully pulled through. Our happiness however was short-lived as an MRI scan at one week old revealed that George had sustained brain damage and would be left with permanent disabilities. Four years on and George is severely delayed, he can’t crawl, stand or walk and has hemiplegia so he struggles to use his right arm and leg effectively. After many months of making painfully slow progress, we took George to the Rainbow Legacy House in November, thanks to the rigorous nature of the therapy there George started to sit independently after just five weeks of sessions. George really loves his therapy sessions and is getting stronger all the time. George will always have challenges to face but we believe if anyone can get him to truly fulfill his potential it is the wonderful Rainbow Legacy House. Please help us to support this wonderful charity.
