Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For those of you who know me, know my mum has MS. At least for the last 20 years my Dad and I have collected on Christmas Eve round local pubs/clubs for the MS therapy centre (Catcliffe). Each Christmas Eve we dress as Mr and Mrs Christmas and set off collecting from the kind folks that visit pubs in Darnall, Handsworth, Frechville, mosborough and Renishaw.

Due to covid this year and the need to shield my parents we are unable to do our collections this year. Like most charities they rely on donations to keep them running. This year has very badly affected their ability to raise funds and has impacted them significantly.

The MS therapy centre provide vital support and treatment for people living with MS. They provide oxygen therapy and other holistic health approaches and could not do so without the generosity of the public.

Each Christmas Eve we usually raise approximately £500 and this is my goal.

I will be running 5k daily from the 1st to 25th December dressed in Christmas gear.my Dad Richard  who's 72 will be running the last 5k with me on Christmas day.

Wish me luck and give generously.

Much love

Lucy
