Story

This June, the TRIBE community is coming together to take on an epic Scottish trail: The John Muir Way. Taking place on the longest day of the year, we will relay through the day into the night. We will push the limits of human endurance and run 220km, in teams of 4 or 8, in 24 hours to fight modern slavery. There are an estimated 136,000 people living in slavery in the UK (Global Slavery Index 2019). That's more than two victims for every thousand people in the country. This needs to stop. TRIBE Freedom Foundation was inspired by Run for Love - an epic 1,000 mile journey to raise £250k and set up the first home for trafficked children in the UK. We work by raising awareness of trafficking and supporting frontline projects to fight modern slavery. We empower the TRIBE community to create an impact.Let's do this!

Lucy has worked supporting the Tribe Community on all of their Run For Love Ultra challenges so far and thought it was about time to not stand on the side lines and take part.  So what better way than to rope her colleagues at work who are all younger and fitter than her to help out with this worthy cause.  It is going to be fun whilst also being extremely tough so please help us raise some money for this truly amazing charity.  Any donation however small or large is hugely appreciated.

Many thanks to you all in advance from the Abbey View Physiotherapy Team
