We are looking to continue to inspire blind people to believe and dream, but we desperately need help funding our bid to defend our Wolrd title, in Canada.

Story

Blind Sailing has helped me grow in all aspects of my life.  I will be defending my World title as B2 helm for GBR, alongside my team members, Ben, Martin, and Gary.  Alongside taking the helm I will also be heading up the four teams representing GBR, something I am truly proud of, through sailing I have grown and it is my turn to share and inspire my fellow team members.  Being born visually impairment has been a challenge but jumping in a boat and working with the team takes away any strains of the day, being on a boat feels so much safer than walking along a pavement.   Please give any support you can my fundraising events will first support my sighted support Gary and Ben who give up so much time sharing their knowledge and training hard alongside us, as do all our volunteers.

Please take a look at our website www.gbrblindsailing.co.uk and read our stories. We look to change lives by giving people FREEDOM ON THE WATER leaving their white stick or guide dog ashore and giving them the chance to sail using feel and communication from their team.
