This charity is very close to my heart and in memory of my friends little girl, who sadly passed away 5 years ago from the rare epileptic condition West Syndrome. Elsie's parents, family and friends have worked so incredibly hard trying to raise money for a week of Elsie's care at Shooting Star Chase Hospice, which is a massive £189,000!!! 
I decided at a recent fund raiser it was time I pushed myself and did something to join the efforts and raise some money for an amazing cause.
Anyone that knows me will appreciate that running is not my thing and I certainly am not built for it!!
Its scary to think that on 25th March 2018, I will be taking place in the Hyde Park 10k ! When I started training in early November, I honestly nearly collapsed after my 30 second jog ! I have now pushed that 30 seconds into 45 painful minutes and reached 5k, training religiously 4 times every week ! Including coming second to last in the local Park Run, to a 73 year old !!!!! But I did it and didn't walk one single step !!!!!
In 2 months i will be doing the 10 k race!!!! 
I really want to raise £500 for this totally amazing target set up by my lovely friend Holly in loving memory of her daughter Elsie.
