March 25, 2021 is National Medal of Honor Day, which recognizes members of the United States Military who have distinguished themselves conspicuously by gallantry and intrepidity above and beyond the call of duty and are awarded the Medal of Honor for their actions.
National Medal of Honor Day is a time to remember and honor the sacrifices of men and women in uniform who have earned this highest of military honors.
To recognize this day, Ludlowe High Schools Students for Soldiers club is hosting a walkathon/runathon. For each mile a participant runs, they can pledge to raise donations to benefit the USO of Metropolitan New York. Each week, participants will track their miles using a google form and we will keep a leaderboard to see who can run or walk the most in March!
