Give It Your Max is working hard to provide care packages to the most vulnerable children that we work with. We are supporting these children to promote physical health and mental wellbeing at this time of crisis.

Story

Our programmes are shut during this time of crisis but the children we work with are more in need of our help than ever before. Many families are struggling for basic essentials. They don't have the resources to continue their education and we need to encourage them to stay active for their physical and mental health. We are communicating directly with all the schools where we operate a tennis programme and with the direction of the schools we have identified numerous vulnerable children who are suffering with real hardship. Anything you can contribute will go directly to supplying these families with basic essentials to support them through this time of crisis.

We work with disadvantaged, disabled and vulnerable young people aged 4-18 across the UK. Our tennis programmes are designed to enhance the lives of these children, many of whom haven’t had the opportunity to play tennis before. By offering free sessions in school and community settings, we help to break down potential barriers to participation, such as financial limitations or lack of opportunity. We use tennis to tackle socio-economic issues, including poor mental health, low self-esteem, high levels of inactivity, crime/anti-social behaviour and low aspirations.
