I've decided to give myself a personal challenge and give something back to the community in these difficult times.

One Sunday the 31st of May 2020, I will be setting off on a...wait for it...

ONE HUNDRED MILE  bike ride to raise valuable funds for a local charity, Taylor Made Dreams, please help me to reach my target of £3,000 to support this amazing charity through the uncertain times due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since the pandemic hit, the charity has seen a dramatic decrease in charitable income and they need our support now more than ever. The charity had to act fast and expand their services to meet the immediate change in needs of their highly vulnerable children, all of whom are being shielded at home due to having a life limiting illness or terminal condition. The charity provide many services which include;

1. Bucket lists wishes to terminally ill children
2. Counselling to families on their difficult journey
3. Holistic therapy to provide much needed respite
4. Medical travel grants
5. Medical sheepskin fleeces to prevent and/provide relief from bed sores which children are susceptible to when bedridden for long periods of time due to illness
6. Family portraits to create precious memories
   
7. Memory pendants after the sad loss of their loved child

Most recently, the charity has added another service to that list in the form of '200 monthly TMD Food & Hygiene Support Packs' to support families in our community and further afield who are isolating at home to shield their unwell children.
