This is my first fundraiser EVER! 

I can't bear to see homelessness in our society, especially among young people. Everyone deserves a safe place to live. During this crazy time, I have been working with Southend YMCA and have been privileged to see up close the work they do for young people in my local area. That's why I'll be supporting Southend YMCA as part of a virtual Sleep Easy event happening across the country on Friday 26 March, with the aim of raising vital funds to help tackle the root causes of youth homelessness. From 7pm on Friday 26 to 7am on Saturday 27 March, hundreds of people across the country will be sleeping anywhere but their beds to raise awareness of the thousands of young people who are made homeless each year. In support of YMCA Southend, Leo will be helping me make a cardboard structure in the living room where we'll both sleep for the night, as part of the special event! Money raised will go towards delivering much-needed support for residents and homeless young people every day.
