This year Gavin and I are to undertake The Great Outdoors Challenge, this is a challenge to cross Scotland on foot over hills and through glens from west coast to east in 14 days, most nights we will sleep under canvas and there will be a couple nights in Bothies. 

When we got a place on the challenge we immediately decided we were going to do it for a charity very close to us, SARDA, please see below a link direct to there website, http://www.sarda-scotland.org/ here you will be able to read more about what great work SARDA do along side the Police and the Mountain rescue locating missing people in the Mountains also children and vulnerable Adults in low grounded areas.
