In December 2012 my world was shattered when my Dad was diagnosed with Colon Cancer. He had this removed and had tests done.. Later on at the start of 2013 his and our worst fears were confirmed when the doctors told us his cancer had spread to his liver and was terminal. We just couldn't believe it and as I sat in that room just me and my Dad, we couldn't stop crying. But in time with the help of health professionals we managed to get my Dad into a more positive frame of mind. He went to all of his appointments and even looked forward to some of his chemo appointments just so he could have a friendly chat with the nurses. He fought on for nearly 3 years looking forward to time with his granddaughters and all of his family. He tried to push the cancer to the back of his mind but eventually it came and took him away in September 2015. I tried to cherish every moment with him in his time he had with us. But I miss him so so much my heart is forever broken and will never be the same with out him. I am now expecting another of his granddaughters and its just not fair he has to miss out on them. We all love him so much. Please donate and help ease that pain slightly. Thank you for reading my story.
