Story

Hello there,

It has been tough lately for many people... but also organisations and charities. Animal charities have been hit pretty hard. So, I have decided to raise money for Thornberry Animal Sanctuary. It is local, i used to be a volunteer dog walker there and of course - we rescued our beautiful cats from there! Tink and Belle who we wouldn’t be without.

I decided to walk the Yorkshire 3 Peaks... ON MY OWN!!! Yikes! If you know me, you know I like a challenge. I’m not even talking earphones. Just me, myself and I! Plus my bag full of essentials (snacks)! My map, my compass and my thoughts! This will be the last Sunday in June.

My love of the outdoors started at a very young age when my older brother who was in the TA used to take me hiking all over! (usually off the beaten track)!! Then make me tea using the stream water and make food on a tiny stove! I also remember falling down the side of a hill and him having to rescue me using his belt!

I have set my target quite high, because I know lots of my friends are huge animal lovers and have said they will support me!
Any donations I will be truly grateful for.

Thankyou
Lynsey:-)
