In February 2018 I will be embarking on a huge challenge to cycle 450 km in 5 days around the Karnataka region of India. 

I have been to India many times and its heart-breaking to see these children in such a bad way with no-one to help them.

They have a right to be given a chance and not just left to die young and be abused by the system.......or by other people.

I want to give them a chance, and an opportunity with the fantastic help and support from Heal Charity, which is a UK registered charity (reg no. 101334) in its 25th year of providing shelter, education and health care for these orphaned and underprivileged children.

I will also be self sponsoring one of these kids to help provide them with education for the next 2 years atleast.

The trip is entirely self funded so all the donations I receive will go directly to the charity, of which all the staff involved are also volunteers so all the money raised helps the kids directly.

By taking part in this cycle ride (and I will also be staying on at the childrens village for a few days), I hope to be able to make even the slightest contribution to this huge project by Heal which is growing every year and are aiming to help upto 10,000 children escape the poverty trap by 2020.
