Story
Hello, my name is Maggie and during the pandemic I was diagnosed with a grade 3, aggressive, triple negative breast cancer following a routine mammogram. I had no prior symptoms, no changes or lumps detected, and I felt well. Thanks to the wonderful NHS I had surgery, chemo and radiotherapy, it was a very dark and difficult time for me. This year I feel better and am doing something outside my comfort zone taking part in a fashion show with other cancer survivors to raise money for a small local independent cancer charity called Bosom Friends. This group provides help and support to women in the Bradford and surrounding areas, during and after their treatment. I know money is very tight for everyone at the moment but anything you can donate would be really helpful and gratefully received. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
