On 4th December 2017, our world came crashing down around us when after a short and aggressive rare illness, my beautiful wife Manjit passed peacefully with her loved ones at her side. 

A pocket sized, fun loving, ever smiling mother, wife, sister, aunt and daughter, Manjit lived for our two beautiful daughters Sanah (aged 9) and Jaya (aged 5).

The support and guidance we received from Child Bereavement UK while Manjit was poorly in hospital and when she passed, helped me to do the unimaginable when I had to tell my children that their Mummy had died. 

The vital support from Child Bereavement UK should be available to all those who need it and I do not know how I would have broached the subject with my girls if I had not sought out their professional help in the first instance.
