That handsome chap - no, not me - in the photo is my wonderful nephew, Sam. Last year, Sam developed a rare form of epilepsy called Rasmussen syndrome and, just after this photo, had to have a major brain operation which he is now recovering brilliantly from. Sam is a brave and spirited boy but obviously needed wonderful medical care during and after the operation from Great Ormond Street. To thank them for this, I am raising money for them on Sam's behalf*. 

*Apparently he's not going to run the 13 bloody miles himself.
