Between us, we've completed 5 Hike for Hope treks raising money for research into disorders affecting men's and women's reproductive health. Our previous treks involved 300 participants and raised a total of £1.3m!

To celebrate Marcus being alive and kicking at 75, David has decided to accompany him on one last trek.

Prostate, bladder, kidney, womb and ovarian cancer still claim far too many lives each year, often young lives. Other disorders of the reproductive and urinary organs cause major illness, suffering and distress.

Advances in diagnosis and treatment have improved outcomes, but there is still much to be done to prevent and cure these life and health threatening disorders. Medical research funded by the Urology Foundation and Wellbeing of Women will lead to more successful treatment for these under-funded areas of healthcare.

We've chosen to support these charities by taking part in a tough challenge event, climbing to the summit of Ras Dashen (4,533m). We will be covering our own costs on the trek so any amount you give will help contribute to more invaluable research.
