The London Marathon will be my 7th marathon. Last year I raised almost £2,000 for the Stephen Lawrence Trust - this year I want to do even better.

All too we admire the amazing example of Baroness Doreen Lawrence, we remember the tragic death of Stephen Lawrence by racists thugs and we see the great work that the Trust is doing to help young black people into the professions. But how often do we dig into our pockets and show support for a cause we all believe in?

Don't worry through my marathon running you can support a brilliant cause and support a national hero - Doreen Lawrence - do even better work.
