I've contracted Hep C some time ago and last year I've undertaken very demanding treatment in order to beat it. Hep C is a virus that effects liver and causes liver cancer and cirrhosis.

Treatment was successful and I am free of virus. But there is still a lot of people out there who are fitting an every day battle with this secret killer.

During my treatment I've received amazing support from my family and friends but also form Hep C Trust.

Therefore I've decided to give something back to the Trust and ensure Trusts team is able to continue to support everyone and anyone effected by Hep C.

I am going to run 10k Leeds run on 20th July this year and would appreciate your support. I am not asking for much...just few pennies to collect a total of £500.

£5 will pay for one helpline volunteer's travel to trust. Last year Trust received 4000 calls from people effected by the Virus. And I was one of those people calling....so if I can raise at least the value of 100 calls I will be very happy.
