Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page! I am taking part in a brilliant challenge for what is a truly great cause – I would hugely appreciate you supporting me here and making a generous donation! Alternatively, feel free to join me and sign up yourself!

Here are two great reasons why you should be sponsoring me:

1)       I am taking part in a 30km ‘Race to the Eye’ with 250 people – Starting at the London Eye, I am in one of four teams taking a circular route along the Thames and ‘racing’ back to the Eye. This is going to be tough and I am guaranteed to need some serious feet up time after it (like my two girls will let that happen! lol). I don't mind a bit of pain - as long as it's for a cause.

2)       The money raised is supporting a really great charity - Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO).  The money I am raising will help VSO provide 1000 people in 10 countries with the skills they need to support their families, contribute to their communities and to lead successful lives – see some examples http://www.vso.org.uk/stories/

Please do sponsor me – I really would appreciate your support. Alternatively, I will happily race you to the London Eye! Thanks again!

About the charity

VSO is an international development organisation that brings people together to share skills, build capabilities, and change lives to make the world a fairer place for all. Everyday, VSO volunteers are working to empower people living in some of the world’s most marginalised communities.
