The Tom Coughlin Jay Fund is like my second family. They have been there since the day I was diagnosed with cancer, and they still continuing to be there for me. Now it is time for me to be there for them.
For those who know and for those who don’t, I tackled stage 4 cancer in 2012. I was told I would never run again and I had a 30% chance to live. The doctors told me that, and I told them “watch me prove you wrong.” And so I have done nothing but do that!
In honor of the Jay Fund's 25th anniversary, I am running a 31 mile race in honor of Jay McGillis (the reason the Jay Fund began) and the families who are tackling childhood cancer. The Tom Coughlin Jay Fund has been my cheerleader since the day I was diagnosed with cancer. They have given so much to my family and I, now it is time for me to give back to them. Run virtually with me by cheering me on and donating $31 in honor of Jay's jersey number, $25 in honor of their 25th Anniversary, or any amount you would like to. All proceeds will help local families tackling childhood cancer.
