Story

Hi - Thanks for taking the time to stop by! Now you are here please take the time to read more about Naomi House and why I am doing this

Every year I say to myself I am going to do something for charity - every year I don't follow through with my thoughts. This year is different! This year I am going to climb the highest free standing mountain in the world - all 20,000 feet!

You can help me make a difference.....

Why Naomi House?

We had our first baby in 2014 - after years of trying and four IVF attempts we finally hit the jackpot! Words cannot explain the bond we have, and other parents have with their children, it was only after having a child that I realised just how strong that bond is - and just how short life is. I, like most people reading this, am incredibly lucky, I have a healthy child, however some parents are not as fortunate. Naomi House costs £11,000 per day to run - the service they provide to poorly children and their families is invaluable - unimaginable I am sure for those of us that will never need their support.

I am supporting Naomi House as I cannot imagine being without my little girl - I cannot imagine the trauma families must go through when they have poorly children, children that have done nothing to deserve the situation that they find themselves in, parents that have to come to terms with the worst eventualities - I am supporting Naomi House because these families and children need our support.

Climbing Kilimanjaro will be the most physically challenging thing I have ever done. Being someone used to my home comforts this challenge is going to take me well outside of my comfort zone. You only have to look at the good work that Naomi House do, and the smiles that they put on families faces to see why I am happy to put myself through the training and difficult conditions that will be encountered climbing Kilimanjaro.

Please take the time to look at some of the videos that Naomi House have on YouTube - witness first hand the great work this charity does.
