Story

Thanks for visiting our 75th anniversary fundraising page in aid of local charity STEPS Conductive Education Centre in Shepshed.

We (Mark Harrison, Stewart Collier, Paul Hollinshead, Richard King, Andy Turner, Wes Scales, Matt Vice, Phil Bott, Jon Knight and Paul Leach!) are challenging ourselves to walk the Yorkshire 3 Peaks on 14 September in under 12 hours to raise essential funds for this specialist school which enhances the lives of children with motor disorders.

You'll see our team fundraising target above. Your donation can really help us smash this goal and give us no alternative but to climb the peaks of Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-Ghent which cover 39 km including 1700m of gruelling ascent!

The sponsorship we achieve from this challenge will be added to the amazing £3,277.85 we raised  from our cycle event in May #mce_temp_url# with every penny directly benefitting the children.

£50 will pay for a morning’s care and education at the centre whilst £200 will secure a child’s education for a month. Funds are also much needed for the renovation of an old building to create a quiet room, along with a washroom block and new windows.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never share them with anyone or send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to STEPS. They'll make sure Gift Aid (an additional 25%) is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer, too. That means more money goes to STEPS, faster, with JustGiving.

So please dig deep and donate now.
