Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I've agreed to team up with Martin Peek (https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/martin-peek) for the following:

Andy Stevenson was a member of Martins Golf Syndicate.  Whilst fighting against Cancer at the James Paget Hospital he spoke about organising a charity golf day to raise money for the Sandra Chapman Ward.  Unfortunately he lost his battle before he could arrange it so a few close friends decided to take up the challenge in his memory.

This has special meaning for Martin as his Dad has also recently been treated at this unit for a rare type of Leukaemia. In addition to this recently my dad has also been diagnosed with cancer so I thought it would be a great to charity to assist.

After the charity golf event on the 1st September I will be visiting Loch Lomond national park where a few days later I will be climbing Ben Nevis in honour of those who have to go through the battle of cancer! this will be a challenge for me but its nothing compared to the daily challenges of those living with this difficult disease, whom I admire so much for their courage!

Aviva have agreed to £ match the first £250 raised so with gift aid every £10 sponsored could be worth £22.50.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and also for any support you can provide.
