Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Team 'Marshall Tuff Legs'. Hannah, Helen, Rachael, Annette, Josh, Joe and Laurence are running the Hastings Half Marathon on 22nd March 2015 to raise money for Demelza House Children's Hospice. Hannah (our trainer) will also be running the Virgin London Marathon on 26th April on behalf of Demelza House.

We all decided (some with a bit of persuasion) to get fit and run as a team for a good cause - our experience ranges from very experienced ( Hannah with several marathons and half marathons under her belt) to never having run before and lots of levels in between. Our ages range from teenage to mid forties(ish).

Everyone has been training really hard since the beginning of September and putting in lots of time and effort often on dark cold and rainy evenings. The team training is not only raising money for a good cause and improving staff morale but has also given some of us the running bug!

Unfortunately due to illness/injury original team members Natalie, Gareth and Craig can't run on the day but will be there supporting us all the way.

Demelza House is a really worthwhile cause and money donated will help encourage us to run our fastest and complete the 13.1 hilly miles around Hastings (and Hannah's 26.2 miles around London!)

Please dig-deep and support the Marshall Tuff Legs' Team.

Thank you :)
