As some of you will know my wife suffers from chronic migraine which at peak has led to up to 20 headaches a month and is seriously disabling. Up to very recently there has been no specific preventative treatment for migraine. However Migraine Trust have championed research into the illness and in the USA a drug was launched last year which has had ground-breaking success and is expected to be formally rolled out in the UK. Migraine Trust is working to make the new drug available for all. However more research and treatment is required and this walk will help to champion this, raise awareness and hopefully funds for a worthy cause.
