Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As part of my ongoing midlife crisis I have decided to enter the Birmingham half Marathon (BUPA Great Birmingham run) on 21st October 2012. One of my interests is bees and beekeeping so I thought that it would be an opportunity to raise money to help beekeeping in the developing world. This helps both the bee population and poor communities who learn how to keep bees and harvest a valuble crop of honey.
Bees for development is an organisation which supports beekeepers in the developing world by providing educational resourses and to help them produce honey and beeswax, protect local biodiversity and keep bees health. Visit www.beesfordevelopment.org .
