In memory of my Mum, Janet Willert,  who lost her incredible 9 year battle with Bowel Cancer in December, I am heading off on the 23rd August to cycle from Lands End to John O'Groats, a journey of 970 miles through 23 counties across England, Wales and Scotland from the most South Westerly point of Cornwall to the most North Easterly tip of Scotland. The journey will take 9 days in total averaging 108 miles per day. This ride has been on my bucket list for some years and I now have a great incentive to go for it!!!

I have chosen to raise money for The University of Southampton's Immunology Research Fund, a charity Mum supported. Their ground breaking research is saving lives by using the body's immune system to eradicate cancer. But revolutionary research needs revolutionary facilities. A £25 million state of the art center for Cancer Immunology is set to open this year but it doesn't stop there, they need to recruit and support the most talented researchers in the fight against cancer. 

I want to be part of the cure, and I invite YOU to be also!!!
