RUNNING FOR DODGE

In 2017 our dear friend Doddie told us about the terrible illness he was facing – instead of looking for any kind of sympathy, he said it was just a ” bit of an illness and nothing to worry about”.  Since then he has thrown everything at raising awareness of MND and the shear desperation to increase research to hopefully find a cure.  

Having known Doddie for over 20 years he is the most genuine and generous man you will ever meet.  A sporting icon on and off the pitch but mainly a great friend who will always make you laugh even when you have heard it all before!!!  Just look at the reception he received at Murrayfield https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/42044362

So, two hopeless runners,  Roger Hancock and Martin Wilson from Thrifty UK are going to participate in the Great North Run, with very poor preparation we have just one goal,  to raise as much money as possible for the great man!
