Paddington Bear made the journey from darkest Peru to London so Ella and I decided we needed to go and see where he came from.  The opportunity to  fundraise to support the welfare work of the British Horse  Society was too good to miss.  The prospect of riding for six hours a day, over steep and narrow trails and camping out at high altitude will either make or break us but we have had the privilege of sharing some great times with our own horses over the years, starting with my first horse Oliver back in the 70s through to Roly, Prinz, Carmella, Whisky, Kosi, Notion and Spring.  They are behind this adventure and willing us on to raise funds for their less fortunate equine friends.

We have already paid the trip costs so any donations received via JustGiving will go direct to the British Horse Society
