Recently Mary Kidd has overcome surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy following diagnosis of Grade 3 Breast Cancer, 0.4mm away from the chest wall. We decided to set up a team (comprising of Ben Jeffery, Andrea Chhabra and myself) to abseil down a 130ft building in Maidstone on 5th June, raising money for Cancer Research (70 % of all donations go to Cancer Research and 30 % goes to the children's road safety department at the KM Charity Team) - well..... why not?!

I am pleased to say the outcome looks good, and Mary is back singing and smiling ready to take the abseil challenge with the team!

Although the challenge has changed building and date, I am more determined than ever to complete the abseil. I am also doing this with my cousin Sharon in mind who sadly passed away from Cancer just last week.
