Hi,

I'm Maryam, and for the last four years I have taken part in a number of cycling events to raise money for great causes!

This time, I am very excited to be cycling 20 miles to raise money for the Muslim Council of Britain, the UK's largest and most diverse Muslim umbrella organisation. The work of the MCB includes working for the common good of British society and bringing together people of all faiths and none.

This work includes, the largest Mosque open day, #visitmymosque which builds cohesion between communities, media monitoring work which includes debunking misleading headlines & news articles & articulating a common voice on behalf of its 500 member organisations

In supporting this cause, you are helping to ensure the sustainability of vital organisations such as the MCB and investing in the rights of minority communities in the UK
