Story
Hi, my name is Matilda and I am 9 years old. On 9th January 2016 I am going to have my hair cut and donate it to The Little Princess Trust to be made into a wig for a girl or boy who has lost their hair through illness. I am hoping to donate at least 10 inches of my hair to the charity.
The Little Princess Trust was set up in memory of Hannah, a little girl who lost her hair during chemotherapy treatment for cancer. Sadly Hannah died in 2005 and her parents set up the charity to provide real hair wigs, free of charge, to children suffering hair loss in the UK. Each wig the charity purchases costs on average £350.00.
I aim to raise as much money as I can for this very worthwhile cause.
