The GB Challenge 2013 · 29 April 2013

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Friday 17th May will be the eighth running of our annual work "GB Challenge" event. This year our chosen charity is The Alzheimer's Society, and we've put together two challenges, both from Brassington to Castleton - a 30 mile walk along the Limestone Way, or a 60 mile bike ride taking in some of the best of the Peak District National Park. I'll be tackling the bike ride myself.

With over seventy colleagues involved on the day, we're hoping to raise over £10,000 for this very worthwhile cause, so with my personal fundraising target I'm hoping I can do my bit, and of course that's where you can help....
