In October last year my Dad past away after a short battle with Skin Cancer. Towards the end of September he was admitted into St Mary's Hospice in Ulverston. When I heard that my Dad was to be moved to a hospice I was devastated, having no previous experience of hospices and the stigma that surrounds them I assumed this is just a place you just went to die . . . how wrong was I?!

The care that Doctors & staff at St Marys's Hospice gave my Dad, and our family was incredible . . . from how comfortable they made my Dad, to the amazing support they gave to my family and I at such a heartbreaking time. I can not thank the hospice enough and now i want to repay them as much as I can, by raising as much money as I can for them!
