We aim to improve awareness & understanding to support all those affected by dyspraxia

Story

Dyspraxia (or developmental co-ordination disorder) impacts the lives of children and adults. Kids, like one of my sons, struggle with fine and gross motor skills, co-ordination and organisation. This can make things really difficult in the classroom, the playground and other social settings, often leading to anxiety and other difficulties. These difficulties continue into adulthood, but with appropriate support we can help people cope better - or even thrive - with the condition.

Despite it affecting one child per classroom, dyspraxia receives little publicity ... but the Dyspraxia Foundation offers support in many ways - not least through its helpline, which has helped our family understand the condition better with its valuable advice.

OK, so 10k might not seem like a lot to some. But to me, well, I've been training since February, I've been injured, I've worked really hard and I'm determined to finish in a decent time for this cause that means so much to our family! Please give what you can - your donation will make a huge difference to a small charity.
