Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

All money fundraised will go directly to Woodlands Hospice in Aintree Hospital and make a direct impact on Woodlands Hospice and its patients.

Myself and friends are raising money on behalf of Woodlands Hospice Charitable Trust because of the amazing care and treatment they provided for my mum, Noreen, in the final weeks of her life. Prior to my mum being diagnosed with a terminal illness, I was never aware of the importance a hospice such as Woodlands had and the amazing job they do on a daily basis. Although me or my family never thought we would be in the situation that we were in, we couldn't thank the nurses/doctors and volunteers at Woodlands Hospice enough for making my mums final weeks of life as comfortable and least distressing as possible not only for her but for me and my family also.

Myself along with my two friends Conor and Connor will be running the Liverpool Half Marathon in order to fundraise for Woodlands Hospice. The money raised will have direct impact on the terminally ill patients of Woodlands in their final weeks of life.We have all been affected by cancer in some form or another so any donations whatsoever would be greatly appreciated and will make a difference. Thank you!
